We’re looking forward to offering quality child care in a beautiful, nature-rich setting right here in Sorrento, BC.
At The Muddy Children’s Society, we believe children thrive when they are given the freedom to explore, play, and connect with the world around them. That’s why our programming is rooted in outdoor, play-based learning that is child-led and responsive to each child’s unique interests and needs.
Our licensed and thoughtfully designed classrooms support the whole child—socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. With small group sizes and qualified educators, we create a nurturing environment where curiosity and confidence grow naturally.

View the fee schedule here.The Muddy Children's Society participates in the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative. This reduces families monthly fees by up to $900/month depending on the age of your child. You can use the online calculator to see what your fees may look like: https://mychildcareservices.gov.bc.ca/ccfri-estimator.
Payment is due on the first day of each month for that month. There are no refunds due to a child’s illness or absence. Subsidy is accepted and must be applied for and approved before care is provided.

Our programs are currently under construction, with an anticipated opening scheduled for mid-October. We recognize that unforeseen delays may occur and will keep all registered families promptly informed of any changes.Families are encouraged to register now and secure their space. If desired, families can schedule a tour of our current program, Blind Bay Munchkins, which reflects the philosophy of our upcoming program and offers insight into our environment, staff, and daily routines. Tours of the new program will be available as we get closer to the opening date.
